History has consistently overlooked the achievements of women in tech, science, and entertainment. In 2020, on the 100th anniversary of women winning the right to vote, not enough has changed, with only 24% of women represented in these fields. So, in a unique platform innovation with LinkedIn, we found history’s most innovative, yet undervalued women in tech, and put them back on the job market. As female pioneers who have experienced the ultimate inequalities in their fields, they sparked conversation and networked with modern women in tech, serving as provocative reminders that yesterday’s bias is not just a thing of the past.
